As the daughter of a principal and a teacher, it is a safe assumption that while I was growing up, I learned a lot about education. Additionally, I learned that it is impossible to get anything past my parents when it came to my own education, particularly if I wanted to hide a grade or procrastinate on homework. Here are 17 things that you can only learn if you grew up with parents who are educators.
1. You will never be able to avoid getting asked at dinner if you got any grades returned
2. Saying, “Everyone else did really badly, too!” is usually met with an unimpressed expression
